She’s My Angel

Well I finally managed to get back on the recording track after losing my recording computer in February. Then the whole Covis-19 Pandemic hit the globe and it seemed it could be quite some time before I would be able to complete any more of the songs that were literally in the middle of being done.

However, thanks to the Government allowing early access to superannuation, I was able to raise enough funds to get a new computer and get back on track. However, it will still be some time before I am able to once again perform any of my songs to a live audience.

So for now, you can check them out on your favourite streaming service. Some notable points on this song. Drums were done by my good friend Rob Duggan while the lead guitar parts were provided by the current Hermans Hermits guitarist Ray Frost. A big thanks to them both.

This song speaks for itself. Its a country/rockabilly little tune singing the rejoices of meeting the love of my life. Enjoy. Check it out on your favourite streaming platform.

Faraway

My second release for 2020 was Faraway. It’s just a fun little happy song that echoes my love of The Beatles. It’s a kind of fairy tale song of a place we would all wish to be. Somewhere we can let go of our worries and just be happy.

It offers the reminder that all we have is right here and right now and we must remember to make the best of every moment.

Go take a listen and see for yourself. Faraway on Spotify
It is available on all other streaming services.

The Flame

January 30th this year saw me release my first song in quite some time. Not that I have not been writing and recording, but simply because I just don’t release everything I write. I have an abundance of songs I have written over the years that just don’t meet the standard of songs that I would like the world to hear.

The Flame on the other hand, is a song I wrote for the world to hear. It’s a reflection on my own life as a musician. A reminder that despite what those see from the outside, life is not full of fun and good times.

Although I would not trade my life in the music industry for any other area, this song was more a release of all my disappointments over the years. Take a listen and judge for yourself. The Flame on Spotify

You can also find it on iTunes, Google Play and various other music platforms.
